Our 2023-24 Annual Report is now available, adding yet another chapter to the Greater Shepparton Foundation’s story of community support and impact.
The yearly ritual of reflecting on achievements as we compile the Annual Report is an uplifting, if not daunting task! To see what we have been able to achieve alongside community in the past 12 months gives all of us at the Foundation, board, staff and supporters alike, a real vision of the collective impact we are having.
As always, this process has provided us an immense sense of pride as we look back over the year that was, a demonstration in action of just how much can be achieved when dedicated people, who understand the community, work together to make a real impact.
With a dedicated Data and Evaluation Manager, it will be no surprise to you that measuring our impact is important to us, we collate data and evaluate our Major Projects annually. It is however when you see these reports in unison in the Annual Report that a picture of our impact really takes shape. The partnerships, collaborations, supporters and the expertise that it takes to ensure all in our village have an equal opportunity to participate.
Please visit the ‘About Us’ page on our website and take some time to read our Annual Report and bring yourself up to date with our work over the past year and share in the sense of community pride that this brings.
The Annual Report was adopted at our Annual General Meeting, held on November 28, 2024. At the AGM we saw the re-election of all our Board Members, Mark DePaola, Julia Thomas, Kara Shields, Neha Samar, Vaughan Bradshaw, Kate Long, and Ebony Tonks. Kate, Ebony and Vaughan joined our board between AGM’s and have all enriched our skill set. Kate, who’s history includes being a former board member of the GV Community Fund, brings a deep understanding of the challenges of our disadvantaged communities and brings a great pragmatic voice. Ebony, a legal professional at Dawes and Vary Riordan with a background in accounting, has brought invaluable expertise in legal and financial matters. Vaughan is the principal of Shepparton Toyota and Mazda and brings a wealth of experience to assist the development of our future business operations and strategic planning.
We sincerely thank all members for the expertise they bring to ensure strong governance for GSF and in turn our community. We congratulate them on their re-election and congratulate Mark DePaola and Julia Thomas for their re-election to Chair and Deputy Chair respectively.
